The Labyrinth - A Walking Meditation

Walk the Labyrinth

April 1st (Wed) and 2nd (Thur) from 10am to 3pm

What is a Labyrinth and Why Do We Walk It?
An ancient symbol, found in religious traditions all over the world, the
Labyrinth combines the circle (wholeness) and the spiral (meandering
but purposeful). It represents a journey into our own center and back
out again into the world.

To walk the labyrinth is to create balance.

The Three Stages of the Walk
Release: Let go of thoughts and emotions. Quiet the mind.
Illumination: Stand at the center; pray, meditate, receive.
Union: Join with your higher power for renewal.

How to Walk
Clear your mind and become aware of your breath. Find your own pace
and rhythm. Take your time. Listen to the wisdom of your heart.
