There were certainly shadow experiences connected with being raised in Catholicism. At some point, these experiences became steppingstones for healing. My personal healing has helped me to also receive and embrace the many gifts of my religious upbringing. This has contributed to my unique soul print and who I am as spiritual leader and teacher. For instance, I am totally attracted to anything called a "pilgrimage" especially when they last 40 days! I'm “all in” on Lent, Advent, and walking pilgrimages.
A pilgrimage is a sacred, dedicated, committed journey that becomes a pathway of transformation. The 40-days represent the time it takes for this transformation to be complete. For me, it's the time it has taken for even the most subtle ego attachments to rise to the surface to be faced, embraced and released. It leads to a full surrender to the mysterious ways of Spirit that requires faith and trust to walk into the realms of the unknown. This sets the stage for a full reliance upon God; a most deep and transforming divine humility. I have found that the lessons and the new way of being impacts every aspect of my life, well beyond my original intentions.
Unbeknownst to you, I have secretly been on another pilgrimage. I have been exploring the 40-Day prosperity plan from The Abundance Book. Today is day 37!
This is a book that has circulated through new thought communities for decades. It is 100% based in Spiritual Principle and the Absolute nature of the unlimited and unfailing All-Sufficiency of God Consciousness to meet every need and desire you may have. As I have walked this pilgrimage, I have been reminded of what first drew me to our teaching: the simplicity of Principle and how it applies in every area of life. So, while we may be fooled to believe that Abundance only applies to financial matters, we may learn and experience how God's true nature, and therefore ours, is wired to experience abundance in all areas of our life and affairs. There are really no exceptions. This is what “Absolute” means.
This pilgrimage has served as the foundation of the teaching that we must Re-Align in God Consciousness before we engage in Re-Imagining ourselves and Unity Renaissance. This realignment assures a powerful vision forward in which Love leads the way while the Principles and Laws of “the way things work” makes all things happen. In other words, it becomes the pathway in which our actions become divinely ordered. We may actually relax and truly "let go and let God" in total confidence and faith.
I am experiencing the true meaning of self-confidence. It is not cocky or arrogant because it is completely detached from ego consciousness. True Self Confidence is sourced by our realignment in our Unity Principles of our oneness with God/Love-Intelligence.
Because this is a complete reversal of the thought system of the world, it takes committed practice to achieve this realignment. 40-Days is the time it takes.
Won't you join me in this sacred journey? My desire is to "begin again" and "touch home base" with the entire community. Imagine the transformation that happens when we walk this pilgrimage together. Imagine our Self-Confidence as we are certain that our next renaissance, our next rebirth, is divinely guided and orchestrated.
The next two Sundays we will trace the Principles of All-Sufficiency. Our 40-Day pilgrimage will begin on Wednesdays August 27 at 6:30 PM on Zoom and continue for six weeks. The 40-Days will conclude on Sunday October 5. It is from this foundation that we walk with Self Confidence as we continue to ReImagine Unity and our lives. I can think of no better time to be this presence in the world. Let us transform our lives so we may be agents of transformation for the world.
