One season concludes.
Another begins.
How I love this time of year. The cooler air. Here, the wind picks up, the sea grasses sway and release their seed, trusting the wind to carry it forward to a season sure to come.
Something is released but nothing is lost. The release ensures its future somewhere in the unknown.
A harvest awaits our thanksgiving.
In the quiet winter, something is born.
I acknowledge this idea in the mind of Love known as Unity Renaissance Spiritual Life Center.
The seeds planted in the most recent season that we entrust on the wings of Spirit are these:
Reimagine & Community Visioning
We have begun the sacred work of reimagining Unity Renaissance. Through conversations and gatherings, we are exploring our vision, mission, and core values, inviting God’s highest vision to be revealed through us. This is an ongoing process, not a one-time exercise. Look for at least two more opportunities to join our community in visioning. And come to our next Community Forum on November 16th, where we will share what has been revealed so far. This practice will continue with surveys as we prepare for a new Strategic Plan in 2026.
Sacred Service Program
Our words are powerful, and what we name things matters. We have renamed our volunteer program as Sacred Service, recognizing that our service to the community is devotional and holy. Our giving and our receiving are one.
More than 47 participants joined Discover Your Spiritual Gifts, exploring their unique soul print and discovering new ways to authentically share their talents. We are deeply grateful to Mary Molinari, our team leads, and every heart in sacred service to God and to our community.
Abundance & Prosperity
Our Treasurers and Finance Team continue to provide clear, timely, and transparent financial updates. Finance at a Glance and monthly platform reports keep us informed and grounded in truth.
Forty-four participants joined our 40-Day Prosperity Program and 6-week class, embracing the truth that God is our all-sufficiency, source, and supply. Each contribution to Unity Renaissance fully supports our ministries and is blessed and stewarded with the utmost integrity and care. We are grateful beyond measure.
Membership
Membership at Unity Renaissance is a sacred commitment. A healthy, stable community is built on the Spirit of Truth as its foundation, with Ministers, the Board, and Members all supporting our shared vision and mission.
The voice of our membership matters. Our role is to encourage and empower our members to be involved and engaged. At our recent Path to Discovery class, 25 people attended, some were current members seeking more information, and others were newcomers discerning their path. From that group, nine (9) individuals have chosen to join Unity Renaissance and will be joyfully welcomed at our New Member Initiation on October 12th.
Board Training & Nominations
Our Board of Trustees has completed training with Rev. Charline Manuel and is preparing to invite qualified members to join in leadership next year.
Strengthening Our Administration
We are enhancing our Business and Administration team under the leadership of our Business Manager, Marcie Ulses, with the support of Debra Amme and our growing administrative support team.
In light of all that is unfolding at Unity Renaissance, we step boldly into what Spirit is calling us to become. Over the next few weeks, we will embrace the Four Agreements and release old agreements to break free from conditioning. We will boldly and fearlessly trust the Spirit of Truth to carry us forward.
This community is poised to be a powerful and beneficent presence in the world. We are ready to lead. We are here to prove that Love always guides in powerful, practical, positive and progressive ways.
