Home Base

My back yard was my whole world growing up. It was the safe place between home and the adventures that awaited in the woods beyond. There was a young red maple tree just outside the back door on the side of a hill. This tree was designated as "home base" by the kids when we played hide and seek. I remember when I was "it" hiding my eyes by that tree counting 1-100, 2-100, 3-100 and so on till 10. I'd open my eyes and go seeking to find all those hiding. If they could pass by me and get to "home base" before I tagged them, they were home free.

Re-Imagine: Discover Your Spiritual Gifts | Unity Renaissance Community Event

August 3rd, 10th, 17th at 1 p.m.

Just as no two fingerprints are alike, each human soul leaves behind a distinct and powerful impression—a soul print. This unique imprint is the divine mark we leave on the hearts and lives of those we encounter.  At Unity Renaissance, we believe in honoring and nurturing these sacred soul prints. We are thrilled to invite all congregants to join us in this transformative community event designed to awaken, develop, and celebrate the unique soul expression within each of us.

Freedom

It was the concept of FREEDOM that attracted me to our teaching.

Consider yourself to be a Practitioner of Freedom through the spiritual practices of allowing the Divine Mind and Heart to lead the way. Love, as the harmonizing quality of God, always leads The Way perfectly.

Rap with the Rev.

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

It's so lovely to be back on campus here at Unity Renaissance. Absence has indeed made my heart grow fonder and clearer. Something wonderful is happening here! I am so grateful.

Six weeks ago, as I was waking from surgery, the surgeon stopped in. I was so happy to see him. While my family wanted to hear the details of the surgery, my only questions was, "What color is my new hip?" With a smile in his eyes, he answered "Lilac".

Loving You!

I've been reminiscing about what it was like this time last year as I imagined what I would say to you as your new Senior Minister. I was having conversations with you long before we became official! I recall one of the first things I shared was that "We may not know it yet, but we already love one another." I know this to be true.
